Every World Cup, we get to hear stories of football lovers travelling across the globe in mini vans, buses, and cycles to watch the matches. This story is about a group of friends who travelled in a school bus to Russia from Mexico, but the interesting bit is that they travelled with the life size cut out of their friend  because his wife did not let him to go.

This group of six friends from Mexico started their preparations to attend the world cup since 2014. Inspired by stories of fans travelling in buses and vans from South America to Brazil to attend the mega event in 2014, they soon bought themselves a school bus. They then repainted the bus with images symbolic of Mexican culture like the Mariachi singers, traditional taco stand; and refurbished the bus with bunk beds and television. They even started an Instagram and Facebook page, Ingue Su Matrushka to share their epic journey.

When all the arrangement was finalised, right before the beginning of the journey, one of the friends, Javier had to back out. The group announced this news through social media in a rather hilarious way that soon became viral. They wrote:

“Javier told us ‘My wife won’t let me come’ and so he couldn’t join us, but we decided to bring him along without her permission. The truth is he is having an awesome time.”

We then got to see Javier’s life size cut out wearing a T- shirt that says, “My wife didn’t let me go”, having a good time throughout the journey at times driving, partying, having beer and one time even passed out on the streets from drinking.

A toda matrushka…. #LaBendición #inguesumatrushka

Javier’s life size cut out was also seen celebrating the victory of Mexico over Germany in the last match.

The bus has permission to stay out of Mexico for six months. So the group will be travelling in Russia till the end of the World Cup. The friends are often spotted wearing the Mexican flag and traditional Mexican straw hat taking pictures with the fans. You can join them on their adventurous trip through their Facebook page.

Fitness Must-Haves: Essential Gear for Your Workout Routine

Published

on

Starting a fitness journey can be exhilarating, but having the right gear can make all the difference in maximizing your workouts. Whether you’re hitting the gym, pounding the pavement, or exercising at home, having the essential fitness gear can enhance your performance, keep you comfortable, and help prevent injuries. In this blog post, we’ll explore some must-have fitness gear that every enthusiast should consider adding to their arsenal.

High-Quality Athletic Shoes:

The foundation of any workout routine starts with a good pair of athletic shoes. Invest in shoes that provide adequate support, cushioning, and stability for your specific activities, whether it’s running, weightlifting, or cross-training. Consider factors like foot type, arch support, and the type of surface you’ll be exercising on when choosing the right pair.

Moisture-Wicking Clothing:

Moisture-wicking fabrics are designed to draw sweat away from your skin, keeping you dry and comfortable during intense workouts. Look for breathable materials like polyester or nylon blends that allow for better airflow and ventilation. Choose workout attire that fits well and allows for a full range of motion without chafing or discomfort.

Supportive Sports Bras:

For women, a supportive sports bra is essential for providing proper breast support during physical activity. Invest in a sports bra that offers the right level of support for your cup size and activity intensity. Look for features like adjustable straps, moisture-wicking fabric, and encapsulation or compression designs for maximum support and comfort.

Sweat-Resistant Headphones:

Music can be a powerful motivator during workouts, but ordinary headphones may not hold up to the rigors of sweat and movement. Invest in sweat-resistant or waterproof headphones designed specifically for exercise. Look for features like secure fit, Bluetooth connectivity, and long battery life to enhance your listening experience while you train.

Fitness Tracker or Smartwatch:

A fitness tracker or smartwatch can provide valuable insights into your workouts, including heart rate, calorie burn, and activity levels. Choose a device that aligns with your fitness goals and preferences, whether it’s tracking steps, monitoring sleep, or providing guided workouts. Look for features like GPS tracking, water resistance, and compatibility with your smartphone for seamless integration with your fitness routine.

Equipping yourself with the right fitness gear can set you up for success on your wellness journey. From supportive footwear to high-tech gadgets, investing in essential gear can enhance your comfort, performance, and overall enjoyment of exercise. Whether you’re a seasoned athlete or just starting out, having the right tools at your disposal can make all the difference in reaching your fitness goals. So, gear up, get moving, and embrace the transformative power of a well-equipped workout routine!
