We all know that while the young entrepreneurs have ants in their pants to transform their ideas into business and make their dreams come to realization, no one has to tell them to go have fun, they just do it on their own. And Startup Village takes it seriously, investing in the fun! At dusk you can see spontaneous volleyball fun, cricket, badminton, table tennis and rumor has it there will be a new basketball court set right outside at the parking lot. Just name the game and we will play it at Startup village. This marvelous time when the lots team up, play and interact with each other outside the office, it really gets under your skin and becomes a part of your innovative mindset.

The Hangout India with us 

Long gone are the days when development was a synonym for long hours of just endless coding. Think about an environment where you are bound by restrictions. Nithin George Charuvila & Shahul Hameed (co-founders of Hangout India) have taken it upon them life at startup villageselves to change this attitude and brought about a new culture into the entrepreneurial world and thus Hangout India was born. They are serving as the official campus connect program for Startup Village. With a vision to create and connect 1000 student developers in Kerala and form an entrepreneurial network, they have organized informal parties to month long programs, with the current being an internship in association with Rubus Labs (BlackBerry Innovation Zone) and Startup village.

The hangout gang has proven it’s talent in various platforms, from regional events shooting to fame with their innumerable wins in national events such as 55444 Hackathon, Yahoo Jam Hack’12, and impressed their footprints in international events such as BlackBerry Jam Asia 2012 in Bangkok.

With Startup Village to back them, the coolest student development community in town continues to Build, Break and Innovate having fun all the way!

The Living Building

For India’s first Biennale taking place in Kochi this winter Jaaga.in & StartupVillage.in have collaborated to create a large scale art installation called ‘The Living Building’ in which we explore the use of industrial shelving materials to create the skeleton of a ‘living being’ in which the internet acts as the mind & soul.

The Living building is a process installation and will evolve and develop over the three months of the Biennale. The public is invited to come view the Living building on the second Saturday of Dec, Jan, Feb from 4:30pm – 8:30pm.

The Tailor-made Events

These events are organized to provide even the newbies with more than enough information about various disciplines required to build a complete entrepreneur. The session on Brand Building for Startups that was organized by Startup Village this month in association with Yorke Communications Private Limited is a great example of such an event at Startup Village. Startup Village also plays host to various events conducted by other organizations, like Startup Saturdays organized by Head Start Network, which are a priceless opportunity for the entrepreneur community at Startup Village to connect to their peers as well as established names in the scenario.

Without a question, Ahaana Krishna is the queen of aesthetics. She has returned with yet another stunning and captivating bridal portrait. The image was uploaded the day before on her Instagram and was immediately loved by the public. Let’s look into the details of this stunning photo shoot.

 Ahaana wore a stunning saree from Indra Designs’ “Enchanting collections” to complete the enchanted appearance. The saree was exquisitely woven in opulent English garden designs, including three-dimensional embellishments created by House of Indra artisans. The saree was draped perfectly by saree stylist Daira. 

Devi Sreenath, the creative director of Indra Designs, styled the entire ensemble. The exquisite bouquet by Droplet Bouquets complimented the entire bridal ensemble.

Ahaana opted for a classic appearance with her accessories. DC Jewellers provided the exquisitely crafted gems. Various pearls and gemstones set in intricate designs make up the ornaments. It complements the outfit’s hues beautifully.
