On the final day of the diet plan , they devour all the colors. Eventually, you can experience a nutritious, balanced weight loss by having a colourful diet. The American singer-songwriter, Christina Aguilera, is an ardent follower of this diet, as it is very simple and that the best part is that it doesn’t require any strenuous exercise.

The pH/ Alkaline diet

The logic behind this diet is that when acid forming foods, such as meat and diary, are consumed it puts too much stress on the body. Thus leading to weight gain and inflammation. The alkaline diet followers are encouraged to eat more of green vegetables in order to maintain the pH level of the fluid in their body. It helps in reducing the morbidity from a numerous chronic diseases. The Five Hands diet

This plan requires you to eat only five palm size proportions of food, rich in protein, without sugar and salt. It is also imperative that you drink a lot of water and snack on green vegetables. The palm sized proportions can consist of smoked salmon, prawns, tuna, scrambled eggs etc. The main advocate for this diet was Victoria Beckham. The former spice girl and fashion magnate had put herself on Five Hands Diet in order to shed the weight gain post pregnancy and to get back her former shape and size.

The Baby Food diet

As absurd as the name of the diet sounds, this diet helps you in losing unwanted pounds for a short term. You merely substitute baby food jars for standard meals. So through portion control, the amount of calories consumed will be very less and controlled.  Even though this diet requires a lot of determination to follow as one might get bored of constantly eating only baby food, celebrities like Reese Witherspoon, Lady Gaga, Jennifer Aniston beg to differ. The Raw Food diet

As the name suggests the followers of this diet plan are only allowed to eat raw food. The food they eat cannot be cooked more 115 degrees Fahrenheit.
