The invitation to the wedding reads, “With the blessings of Smt Kokilaben & Shri Dhirubhai Ambani, Smt. Purnimaben & Shri Ravindrabhai Dalal we are delighted to invite you to the pre-wedding celebrations of our son.” The note further stated that in Jamnagar, India, Reliance built the biggest grassroots refining complex in the world in 1997. 

Anant and Radhika had been engaged for quite a while. The couple got engaged in 2022 at the Ambani home in Antilia, Mumbai, with a customary Gujarati wedding that included Chunari Vidhi and Gol Dhana, among other rites.

The emotional reason behind the Jamnagar destination is also explained in a letter that went viral and was sent by the groom’s parents, Nita and Mukesh Ambani. A haven of care and compassion for thousands of rescued animals, their son Anant has reportedly lovingly “nurtured this complex into.” The compound, near Jamnagar, is home to Asia’s largest mango orchard. The letter asserts that Reliance’s plan will turn the parched area into a “bustling green community.
