Carrie, Samantha, Charlotte, and Miranda. It has been 20 years since these four women entered the screen with a big bang for Sex and the City. Since then, the fashion transformation and influence that they have spread is so immense that it became an era by itself defining trends of the late 1990s and early 2000s. Like Friends (1994-2004) and Clueless (1995)which moulded the fashion of its decade, this series definitely goes on the list for it. As the world celebrates two decades of this series, here are some iconic looks from the show that became revolutionary fashion statements.
1. The tutu skirt
The iconic tulle tutu skirt worn by Carrie throughout the series was one of her trademark looks. The same was recreated in the final episode and the film, confirming it as her identity. She was quite surprised by the way people appealed to her look in it.

5. Always Manolos
The famous fashion brand Manolo Blahnik rose in fame when Carrie Bradshaw, made sure to wear it end number of times, throughout the show, making it a statement that women, even after, after twenty years still identify the iconic Manolos with her.
Truly named as a fashion-forward series, this show still continues to influence endless people around the globe. Apart from the shoe haul and on the point dialogue delivery, Sex and the City takes many of us through an emotional roller coaster ride. Twenty years down the lane, this series still has a special role to play in our lives.
