It was on my second Himalayan trek to Kedarkantha that I realized my body wasn’t fit. It struck me as odd back then. I was in good shape, I thought. I followed a healthy lifestyle – eating healthy, sleeping well, and leading an active life. And yet, on that snowy trail, I struggled to take two steps uphill. Eventually, I went on to complete the trek but not without a deep regret that I didn’t enjoy my trek to the fullest.
Ever since, I’ve gone on more challenging treks, climbing to higher altitudes, covering longer distances. And I’ve completed them without a blemish. All I’ve done is work on four fronts.
