Summer is a time for fun in the sun, outdoor adventures, and making memories with loved ones. However, the heat and busy schedules can often leave us feeling drained and lethargic. To make the most of this vibrant season, it’s essential to priorities our well-being and energy levels. Here are tips to help you stay refreshed and energized throughout the summer months.

Hydrate, Hydrate, Hydrate:

One of the most crucial aspects of staying energized in the summer is staying hydrated. With the sun beating down and outdoor activities in full swing, it’s easy to become dehydrated quickly. Make it a habit to drink plenty of water throughout the day, and consider adding electrolyte-rich beverages like coconut water to replenish lost nutrients.

Eat Light and Fresh:

Summer is the perfect time to indulge in fresh fruits and vegetables that are hydrating and packed with essential nutrients. Incorporate plenty of salads, smoothies, and light meals into your diet to keep your energy levels high without feeling weighed down.

Stick to a Sleep Schedule:

While the longer days may tempt us to stay up late, maintaining a consistent sleep schedule is vital for feeling refreshed and energized. Aim for seven to nine hours of quality sleep each night to allow your body to rest and recharge fully.

Protect Yourself from the Sun:

Exposure to the sun’s rays can drain your energy and leave you feeling exhausted. Make sure to protect yourself by wearing sunscreen, a wide-brimmed hat, and sunglasses when spending time outdoors. Additionally, seek shade during the hottest parts of the day to prevent overheating.

Take Regular Breaks:

Avoid burnout by taking regular breaks throughout the day, especially if you’re spending long hours in the sun or engaged in physically demanding activities. Schedule time to rest and recharge, whether it’s a quick power nap, a leisurely stroll, or a refreshing swim.

Stay Cool:

Beat the heat by staying cool whenever possible. Keep your home or workspace well-ventilated, use fans or air conditioning as needed, and wear lightweight, breathable clothing. You can also cool off with cold showers, ice packs, or by taking a dip in a pool or the ocean.

Practice Mindfulness:

In the midst of summer activities and excitement, it’s essential to take moments for mindfulness and relaxation. Whether it’s through meditation, deep breathing exercises, or simply enjoying quiet time outdoors, practicing mindfulness can help reduce stress and boost your energy levels.

Listen to Your Body:

Above all, listen to your body and priorities self-care. Pay attention to how you’re feeling physically and emotionally, and don’t hesitate to adjust your activities or rest when needed. By honoring your body’s needs, you’ll be better equipped to stay refreshed and energized throughout the summer season.

With these tips, you can make the most of your summer while staying refreshed, energized, and ready to embrace all the season has to offer. By prioritizing hydration, sleep, healthy habits, and self-care, you’ll be able to fully enjoy the sunshine and create lasting memories with those you love. So go ahead, soak up the sun, and make this summer your best one yet!

Water is a crucial substance needed for survival. An optimal amount of water intake is necessary for staying healthy. The importance of water increases, especially in summer. Water is seen in different forms and is available from different sources. Consuming water indirectly through water-rich food is highly beneficial. We experience a variety of seasons throughout the year. Each season has its own characteristics. But other than the goodies, different diseases also accompany different seasons.

Summer season is characterized by extreme heat and harsh sun rays. This often troubles people. The trouble may vary according to the region of inhabitance, and different vulnerabilities. Now, let’s check on the common summer diseases we should be aware of.

Sunburn

Sunburns occur when a person gets overexposed to the sun for a very long time. Sunlight is a much-needed factor. But uncontrolled exposure to the sun is harmful. So, it must be avoided. Sunburns are characterized by red, itchy and cracked skin. Eventually, blisters appear and result in skin peeling. However, the intensity of sunburn varies from person to person.

The only way to avoid sunburn is by limiting long term exposure to the sun and using sunscreen.

Heatstroke

High headache, dizziness, weakness, etc. on a very hot summer day are the primary symptoms of heatstroke. This is often dangerous and can even cause death. It can be prevented by avoiding exposure to the sun. Drinking plenty of water so as to keep the body hydrated can also prevent this condition. In short, stay in a cool place and keep hydrated.

Food poisoning

Food poisoning is caused due to the consumption of contaminated food and water. During summer, in regions where water is scarce, people tend to use contaminated water out of demand. This is too dangerous. Conditions like vomiting, diarrhea, and dehydration caused by food poisoning can even lead to death. So, proper care should be while consuming outside food and water.

Chickenpox

Chickenpox is one of the common summer diseases. It is characterized by fluid-filled red and bubbly rashes all over the skin. These itchy rashes are caught by certain viruses. The rashes often come along with headaches, body aches, and high fever. Once chickenpox was fatal. Fortunately, now it is 100% curable. But proper care has to be given to those who are infected. Because chickenpox is easily transferred and is highly contagious.

Typhoid

Typhoid is also a common disease that is easily transferrable. It is caused due to contaminated food and water intake. Visible symptoms are weakness, loss of appetite, fatigue, abdominal pain, and high fever.

The curly haired beauty and her rapper husband shattered all barriers through their music and even took it to higher realms with their new release. The duo joined hands in their stadium tour ‘On The Run II’  which is the second succeeding the one their album in 2014.

All the songs come with interesting titles- Summer, Apeshit, Boss, Nice, 713, Friends, Heard About Us, Black Effect,  and Love Happy, journeying through the various phases and dimensions of the couple’s individual as well as married lives. This was released on last Saturday with the video of Bey and Jay Z standing in front of the Monalisa painting at the Louvre, being played on the screen ending with the words ‘ALBUM OUT NOW’.

Everything Is Love redefines the couple’s relationship after Beyonce’s solo album Lemonade, released in 2006 and Jay Z’s solo 4:44. They have incorporated their personal and public lives, their views on the current social setting and showcases the plight of black people in today’s white America.

The fascinating unpredictability of life is what makes the album interesting and the healing power of art that is imparted through their music is one of the unique factors. In the end, it is all about the effort you take in compromising and sailing the ship forward to explore the unexplored. This gentle reminder is taken up in a wide spectrum and rhythmically presented in this venture where they open up like never before. Also, they celebrate life, happiness, reliability all gracefully glazed in love, embarking an enchanting journey of life. The poise and sophisticated majesty the couple possess adds to the charm of the album. It received a good response upon its release on June 16.

Various commentaries were received, with many speculating if the lyrics are amply suggestive. Heard About Us is said to be suggesting Tiffany Hadish (celebrity spokesperson), Friends about Jay Z’s relationship with Kanye West, Boss about Drake are some which were immediately focused upon.
