JioCinema brings ‘Dune: Part 2’ to screens on August 1st.

Zee5 contributes “Gyaarah Gyaarah” on August 9 and “Manorathangal” on August 15 to the lineup. 

Amazon Prime Video makes a splash with “Lord of the Rings: Rings of Power” on August 29, “Double iSmart” on August 15 and “Chandu Champion” earlier in the month.

At some point, every aspiring actor must work on an animal film; Jenna Ortega’s is the 2018 independent feature Saving Flora. Old Flora the circus elephant is about to be “retired” for good, but young Dawn (Ortega) is desperate to keep her alive. With stars like David Arquette and Rhea Perlman, the film’s ambition and star power more than made up for its low budget. The entire movie was propelled by Ortega’s relationship with her on-screen elephant co-star, who was expertly cast. Saving Flora was more successful than most independent films, despite its many flaws.

The former CW show—based on the book series by Cecily von Ziegesar—is getting relaunched by WarnerMedia’s streaming service, HBO Max. Yes, a new Gossip Girl reboot is coming in 2021—and it honestly sounds amazing.

The highly-anticipated teen drama, Gossip Girl reboot is set to make its way to TV screens this summer. Slated for a July 2021 release, the 10-episode first season will introduce a fresh crop of gorgeous Manhattan private-schoolers placed in today’s New York City. Joshua Safran一the writer of the drama, confirmed that the reboot will mirror NYC’s diversity. “This time around the leads are nonwhite. There will also be a lot of queer content on this show. It is very much dealing with the way the world looks now, where wealth and privilege come from, and how you handle that,” he shared.

Whitney Peak will be playing the role of Zoya Lott, who is being likened to Penn Badgley’s Dan Humphrey as the show’s relatable-ish tour guide through the glamourous world of the Constance Billard and St. Jude students. Jordan Alexander portrays teen influencer Julien Calloway, who’s the best friend to Emily Alyn Lind’s Audrey Hope. Audrey is a posh student at Constance whose mother is an athleisure designer and has been in a long-term relationship with Evan Mock’s Aki Menzies.

Netflix’s popular teen drama Kissing Booth season  3 is coming on August 11th. The American teen romantic comedy film written and directed by Vince Marcello, is based on the 2012 novel of the same name by Beth Reekles. It stars Joey King, Jacob Elordi, and Joel Courtney.
