Dulquer made his debut as a playback singer with malayalam movie ‘ABCD’, released in 2013. ‘Chundari Penne’ in Charlie was a huge hit after his first song. He has also sung 8 songs in malayalam.

Sharing a series of photos from the dubbing studio. Dulquer quoted in his Instagram,

“Got my vishu Kani and Kainettam from someone, I consider one of my Gurus. My dearest Brinda master. Happy vishu everyone! Sang for the first time in Tamizh for our beloved film #Hey Sinamika!! It’s a super cool and fun track! Govind’s epic music, Madan sir’s soulful lyrics & Brinda master’s brilliant direction and choreo! Truly blessed to get a song like this. Cannot wait for you all to watch the song as well as the film. It’s a film very very close to my heart”.

The official Twitter handle of Jio Studio posted pictures from the song’s recording and revealed that Dulquer had sung it. “Caught behind the mike! #DulquerSalman sings in Tamil for the first time in the romantic comedy #HeySinamika, directed by Brinda Gopal.”

Notably, the title of the film is inspired by the Aye Sinamika track from Mani Ratnam’s OK Kanmani, which also starred Dulquer in the lead.

The romantic entertainer, marks the directorial debut of the most top-rated award-winning choreographer Brinda, jointly produced by Jio Studios and Global One Studios. The shooting of the film has been wrapped up and is in its Post-Production phase. The movie is expected to hit the theaters later this year.

The Film tracks the journey of a couple, played by Dulquer and Aditi Rao Hydari in lead roles, exploring how Aditi gets tired of her stay-at-home husband and plans to get separated after their marriage. The film has cinematography by Preetha Jayaraman, who is the niece of popular cinematographer PC Sreeram.

There is always one guy in every group who plans a road trip and finally ends with nothing but the disappointment of dropping the whole plan. Dulquer Salamaan and Mithila Palkar are making their debut in the Bollywood film industry with their upcoming movie  Karwaan, which is all about three oddballs taking a road trip together. One among the trio is actor Irrfan khan, who is now undergoing treatment for neuroendocrine cancer in London.

The makers arranged a special screening of the movie at London’s Henry Wood House for Irrfan Khan. While Dulquer and Mithila had been busy with the promotions for the upcoming film, they felt like they needed to take a break from the whole promotion touring and decided to go for a road trip together. They started from Mumbai and are headed to Lonavala. Well, no one can blame them for taking time off from their busy schedule, and even though they took their time off from the promotion of the movie, this road trip of theirs has turned out to be another way of promoting the upcoming movie.

The movie involves some of the beautiful locations in Kerala and the audiences seem to be excited to see a story of three very different types of characters who decide to take a trip together.
