Hot, young and fabulous, Sanjjanaa is all set to take the South Indian film Industry by storm. Sanjjana, who started with Kannadamovies also acted in Telugu, Tamil and recently in Malayalam. Archana Galrani to her friends, Sanjjanaa is a North Indian Sindhi girl born and brought up in Bangalore. She has her roots in Mumbai and Chennai. As a 16 yr old girl who hated books, it was her thrive to be independent coupled with luck by chance, as she call it, that started off her modeling career. She never had to look back after the Jewellery ad she did in her 11th standard. Post that Sanjjanaa’s mail box was flooded with movie offers. With 11 movies in her kitty and a mobile application in her name, the 22 year old is all excited.
Recently, Sanjjanaa’s career path has taken on a big leap. It is a whole season of releases ahead of her that includes two Malayalam movies with the stalwarts in the industry. She spent months preparing as a salsa dancer, one of the four heroines in the Mohan lal, Roshan Andrews extravaganza, Casanova. With a heavyweight cast rounded out by Mammootty and Suresh Gopi, The King & The Commissioner represents a turning point for Sanjjanaa: the opportunity to play the role of Nitha Rathore, a police officer in a substantial film. In the light of her alleged relationship with Malayalee cricketer Sreesanth, Sanjjanaa’s entry into Malayalam movie industry is intriguing. Although she keeps mum about Sreesanth, Kerala is eager to know whether Sanjjanaa will end up being her daughter in law.
Radhika Ramachandran of FWD Life recently caught up with Sanjjanaa as she flitted between the CCL matches and the release of Cassanova.
