]]>Kiara Advani, wearing a body-hugging pink gown by Tran Hung, was spotted having a pink moment that was enhanced by her bold beauty appearance. Her face was defined by the delicately bronzed cheeks, her glossy nude lips completed the ensemble, and her gently smudged out makeup accentuated the shape of her eyes.
Lekha Gupta, the makeup artist, accentuated Advani’s eyes by using mascara to lend drama to the lashes. She gave Advani’s skin a dewy base and then defined the cheekbones with a warm, peachy bronzer. Her lips were covered in a glossy lip gloss that complemented the brightness of her pink costume, and her brows were nicely shaped and filled in. In terms of hair, the actor sported a glossy, blow-dried mane that had a contemporary centre part to complete the symmetry of the ensemble.

Sharmila Tagore’s “Winged-Liner” is the quintessential part for achieving the retro look waves since yesteryears – even up till now! For applying the winged-liner, it is advisable to use liquid liner instead of a gel-based liner for attaining a sharp finish. Draw a winged line starting from the centre and take it forward as much as you want towards the outer end. Now, start from the inner corner and draw a thin line towards the middle point and merge with the line already drawn. Now, apply a thin, winged-style line on your water-line too – but remember not to merge it with the upper wing. This will make your eyes appear more defined and less messy.
Popularly known now as fringes, this hairstyle is best for hiding a broad forehead and getting a chiseled look. Renowned as sadhna-cut in the golden era, the style was donned by girls of all face-shapes. Be it side-swept or right at the centre of your forehead, sadhna-cut was a rage back then, and even now in the more common term, fringes or flicks.

This beautiful lass was never seen sans her ethereal face glow. In fact, her pink, rosy cheeks became her trademark in the industry. With pinks and peaches remaining foreverchoices for blushers, one should choose the shade wisely. You may opt for pinks if you have fair or olive complexion, and peaches – if you are more yellow or tan in tonal nature. You can skip your makeup brushes for applying blush-ons. Sponges, instead, are a perfect choice for this task for a superbly blended and all-natural effect – just as of Banu’s.
“No Matte for Rekha”, a rule this 70s siren seemed to be following, be it on oscreen or off it. Rekha seemed to be in love with her subtle glossy shades of coffee, browns, maroons and other dark tones. And today, such dark fantasy hues are famous as oxblood, wines and marsalas, which women of all ages are flaunt! One crucial tip to follow while using darker hues is to line your lips with a lip-liner of the same colour as of the lipstick, for a perfectly defined finish.
Though weddings nowadays boast of shimmery eye liners using Swarovski – this highly bold, extravagant makeup trend was pioneered ages back by the retro diva, Helen. Here are few tips to keep it classy like her.
