The celebrities were awarded across various categories such as FWD Stylish Actor was won by Unni Mukundan, FWD Stylish Actress was won by Isha Talwar, FWD Best Makeover- Tovino Thomas, FWD Stylish VJ was won by Vinay Fort and FWD Stylish Singer by Vijay Yesudas.
In addition to categories chosen through public voting, three special awards were decided by The FWD Media House Senior Editorial Board. These awards- namely FWD Icon of the year was won by Dileep and FWD Celebrity Entrepreneur won by V. Sunil Kumar, Asset Homes for their exemplary excellence in their respective category and the FWD Life Popular Cover of the Year was won by Sijoy Varghese with respect to the mass social media response to his FWD Life Cover.

The event also doubled as the cultural eve for the India Fashion Summit 2016 and had entertainment events by Kerala Tourism, an enthralling violin performance by Shabareesh Prabhakar and a musical treat by Sujith Suresh. This event was followed by the gifting of the kerala traditional “ponnada” to the guests of national recognition such as Sabyasachi Mukherjee, Shantanu & Nikhil, Narendra Kumar, Pernia Qureshi, Gautam Kotamraju, Jaspreet Chandok, Prasad Bidapa, Neena Haridas, Vinod Nair and Sreejith Jeevan.
The eventful night also saw the Max Fashion Show of their Autumin/Winter 2016 collection and the FWD Life September Issue coverlaunch as well as the unvelining of the poster for the movie @Avarude Raavukal
