The steering of the Mahindra Thar Roxx feels unresponsive and unnecessarily heavy around the center at three-digit highway speeds, requiring constant corrections to maintain a straight line. It also shakes and feels harsh when driving over bumpy or pothole-ridden roads, and tends to bounce continuously on undulating road sections at higher speeds. The brake pedal has a significant amount of travel before the braking effect begins, which can be disconcerting. Additionally, the automatic Thar Roxx lacks paddle shifters, which might be a drawback for some drivers. Once you exceed 100kmph, there is noticeable wind noise inside the cabin, and driving consistently at these speeds can cause a substantial drop in fuel efficiency.

Uber is stepping up its bid to create one of the first urban flying taxi networks. They unveiled its Uber Air design models for the first time at the Elevate Summit in Los Angeles on Tuesday ( 08- 05-2018), revealing a look at the electrical vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) craft that could be ferrying passengers above congested cities in just two years. Eventually, Uber says VTOL transportation will be affordable for people, perhaps even cheaper than owning a car. It’ll cut down on lost time and productivity, and Uber suggests it may also reduce the need for traditional roads and infrastructure. Imagine, all you traffic issues will disappear with this innovative technological break through.

Uber said it will share its plans for a ridesharing network of flying cars with NASA, which will conduct simulations. NASA’s findings will help guide the creation of industry standards and regulations, the government organization said in a press release timed to Uber Elevate, the tech giant’s second-annual summit to discuss flying cars.
