]]>Well – that exactly is the all new Marvel Studios’ show Moon Knight all about. The show which is based on the original Marvel comic book of the same name is a story about the night vigilante who gained his powers because of the Egyptian moon god, Khonsu. The alter ego of this character is a little complicated, As in the show Moon Knight is made up of two characters, Steven with a V the museum gift shop salesman and the ruthless mercenary Marc Spector. But while we look into the comic book there is one more person named Jake Lockley in them as well. All three of them mixed up in a chaotic manner makes the character one of the most interesting of them all. The show has Oscar Issac in the role of Moon Knight while Ethan Hawke plays the main antagonist.

]]>Edward Nashton/The Riddler played by Paul Dano has left the viewers in splits. The character has been only portrayed once in the cinematic live version of the Batman universe previously by Jim Carrey in the rather forgettable 90s movie, Batman Forever. Paul Dano has convinced us that he can pull off such an interesting character with a heavy tone making it thrilling and at some points horrific as well. But the journey for Paul Dano with The Riddler does not come to an end, As revealed by the director himself on twitter, A Riddler: Year One comic is in the making and is being penned by Dano himself. The comic book will be a bimonthly six-issue comic which will be launching in October 2022 delving into the dark mind of this iconic villain setting up the background which made him set upon to take the actions he did in the movie. This will provide a whole lot more information for the character, compensating for the 15 minute screen time he got in the almost 3 hour movie.

]]>Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings has gotten its first trailer, showing off the high-flying martial arts action and a new hero for the interconnected universe of Marvel films and shows: Shang-Chi (Simu Liu), who’s known in the comics as Marvel’s preeminent master of martial arts.
The trailer serves as a short introduction to Shang-Chi as he faces off against the mysterious Ten Rings organization and its true leader, the Mandarin. The Ten Rings have been a figure lurking in the background for the entirety of the MCU, first introduced in 2008’s Iron Man (and notably spoofed by a copy-cat group in Iron Man 3), but Shang-Chi promises to reveal the actual group for the first time.
Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings hits theaters on Sept. 3.

If you thought superheroes had a tough life, there is one who probably has it the hardest. While we do see our beloved superheroes beaming with happiness and relief after saving other people, the city, the country, or even the planet; Batman’s joy is the most short-lived.
In the upcoming comic to be released by DC Comics on July 4 – Batman #50 – in an exchange between Batman and Catwoman, the latter tells the hero why he is doomed to a life of misery. The as yet unreleased comic book has been preceded with spoilers from the publisher, which has not gone down well with fans at all as it has probably revealed the gist of the issue, leaving little else for readers to look forward to.
The spoilers, announced on July 1, disclose that the much-awaited wedding of Batman and Catwoman doesn’t take place. The reason is Catwoman’s explanation, which sounds almost bizarre. She tells him that if they get married, they would live happily, which is against the life of superheroes, who are supposed to make sacrifices. “How can I do that. To save the world, heroes make sacrifices. My sacrifice is my love. It’s you,” she says. The idea that Batman needs agony and will cease to be a superhero if Bruce Wayne is happy, comes out as a rather sadistic theme developed by author Tom King for his creation.

Fans have however expressed their vehement outrage at being denied the mystery of the latest issue. With the climax of the story being admitted by the makers themselves, enthusiasts are bewildered by the company’s act, and are finding no point in awaiting the latest comic.
So I’ve already had three people call to cancel their pre-order for Batman #50. I feel like @DCComics owes me money now.

]]>Marvel is finally introducing LGBTQ characters into the Marvel Universe, but only a few knew that there were already queer characters in the DC and Marvel universe. After a decade of filmmaking and releasing 19 films, Marvel has made that one big step by making it official by introducing two queer characters. Reports say, one character will be an entirely new one as the other has been already been introduced to the audience through the films already made the Marvel Universe.
Deadpool 2 was one of the films that hinted some homosexual relationship between the superheroes, the moody teenage mutant Negasonic Teenage Warhead (Brianna Hildebrand) and her girlfriend, the badass mutant Yukio (Shioli Kutsuna).

It was also confirmed that Valkyrie from Thor: Ragnork is bisexual. When everyone thought Valkyrie was a lesbian, Tessa Thompson (Valkyrie) tweeted that the character is in fact bi- sexual

With the new announcement creating a huge impact on the news about not including queer charactes in the superheroes and not exploring their sexual status, here are few Sueprhero characters ( from DC and Marvel), who you probably didnt know were queer.
1) Wonder Woman
Yes, the writers have commented that Wonder Woman is queer because she lived on the island of Themyscira, which is populated with only females.

2) Poison Ivy
Poison Ivy is all about complicated Sexuality. Even though there has been a sexual tension between Poison Ivy and her friend Harley Quinn, their relationship was confirmed in 2017.

3) IceMan
Iceman from the X-Men during his teenage and adult was said to be gay. He went to a bar to explore his sexuality and it was at a bar where he received his first kiss.

4) Deadpool
Yes, you heard it right. Deadpool is actaully pansexual. He is often described as the ultimate definition of pansexual. He is one character in the Marvel character who doesn’t give a thing to what others think. He is one crazy anti-hero character that knows no boundaries.

Batwoman was portrayed as the Batman’s girlfriend but the character’s sexuality was revealed later in the comics. She became the ultimate lesbian power mom who trained young and up-coming superheroes in the detective comics.

Marvel recently bumped up the release date of the much awaited Avengers: Infinity War to April 27 in a rather hilarious tweeted conversation with Robert Downey Jr., and anticipation is high. The flames have only been fanned higher by the release of the final trailer for the movie, with speculation spreading like wildfire on what the movie has in store.
The supervillain, Thanos, is introduced and his goal of wiping out half the universe is made patently evident. Purple Josh Brolin, who plays Thanos, is seen facing off a number of Earth’s heroes, and our heroes seem to be losing. We see a number of scenes where Thor, Iron Man and Dr Strange are bloody, wounded or screaming in agony, as Thanos says, “I hope they remember you.”
Those who also follow the comics are enthusiastically theorising on what the plot would involve, including the presence of Ebony Maw who is obviously torturing Dr Strange, while the more observant are wondering why there is no Hawkeye or Ant-Man in any of the posters or the two trailers.

Yehuda Adi Devir is an illustrator and graphic designer, who is so popular for his posters, comics, and illustrations. His website YEHUDADEVIR is full of comics, character designs and other portfolios of him. He has completed his graduation in B.Des in Visual Communication at Bezalel, from the Academy of Art and Design from Jerusalem. He has a blog where he portrays the bond he has with his wife, who is also an illustrator and graphic designer.

Thor: Ragnarok might be in the running to break some box office records. The third addition to the Thor franchise has been on the roll since the release of its very first trailer. The movie trailer of Thor: Ragnarok broke the record for the most viewed trailer within 24 hours of its release. It surpassed some major contenders with a whooping 136 million views on the very first day.
Thor: Ragnarok which was released on November 3 has been getting a huge reaction from the audience. With the Hulk in the mix, the movie has collected $46 million on the very first day.

But this November, it’s not just Thor whom we can expect to break some box office records; here are a few Hollywood releases for which the audiences are eagerly waiting.
Justice League (November 17)
For all superhero fans out there, the biggest franchise of the DC comics is hitting the big screen soon on November 17. Justice League, one of the most awaited films will have the Flash, Cyborg, Aquaman, Wonder Woman and Batman sharing the big screen for the first time.
